To Avoid Wavy Zippers in Lycra

Try the Following Techniques:
TIP # 1: When setting zippers in Lycra Knits use a strip of
fusible interfacing in the seam allowance to stabilize the seam.
Then sew the zipper in as usual.
TIP # 2: For Woven Lycra fabrics, use a tear away stabilizer
to keep the fabric from stretching and tear it away after the
zipper is sewn in. |
